(Map # 5)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0October &#8211;\u00a0 Quill died\u00a0 &#8211; 80 acre homestead to his widow Mary Bennett<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1848 &#8211; Mary Bennett died &#8211; 80 acres to their grandson &#8211; Jacob Hoff<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1857 &#8211; Jacob sold the 80 acres to Michael Gongwer (1866 &#8211; Gongwer buys the\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0adjoining 80 acres from Elizabeth (Bennett) Wolf.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1866<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0To \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Michael Gongwer has a 160 acre farm he calls Pleasant Valley Farm.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1896\u00a0 \u00a0 &#8211; Michael Gongwer died &#8211; 2 years to settle his estate<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1898 &#8211; Private sale &#8211; the 80 acres that is the Bennett homestead (&amp; the\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0ACWCL farm) are sold to Reuben Gongwer &#8211; Michael Gongwer\u2019s son.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also in 1898 Reuben married Emma (Baker) Shenberger &#8211; a widow who has a daughter &#8211; Maude Mae Shenberger -her child with her 1st husband David Shenberger. (Emma &amp; Reuben do not have any children)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1918 &#8211; Reuben Gongwer died &#8211; his widow Emma inherits the 80 acres<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1925 &#8211; Emma Gongwer died &#8211; The 80 Acres go to Emma\u2019s daughter &#8211; Maude<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1946 &#8211; Maude (Shenberger) Irelan sells the 80 acres to the ACWCL for $10<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Note<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; Maude\u2019s father &#8211; David Shenberger\u2019s parents were &#8211; Michael &amp;\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Rowannah (Bennett) Shenberger. Rowannah\u2019s parents were Peter &amp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Sophia Bennett.
